2023 - May Journey
Month 4 of our journey following one of our students, Missoule Bresil.
"Hello, I hope you are all in peace with Jesus. I know where I'm going, thanks to God. Here is what I want to share with you".
What makes me sad?
"I will let you know that it is not easy at all in Haiti for a poor person, because of the political and economic situation. Sometimes it takes quite an effort to put on a smile on my face. Some of the happiness is in the past. Many people think about the situation of the country, it's really sad. It gives me a lot of problems that I face with my family".
What makes me happy?
"Happiness is time spent with family and friends despite the situation. Also, it is always with great pleasure that I talk to you. May God protect you".
Editor Note: You can feel the heartache, a typical student feels, as she honestly tells her feelings. It is so powerful that the friends she makes in school and the chance to communicate with all of you are bright spots in her life. The students become very close through all of the years in school together.
