The Cassange Story - Part 5 - Wrapping It Up
Mission E4's Model for Community Development
Over the last several months we have shared the amazing story of what God has done in this village. After 17 years of working in this community, it is no longer a place of darkness like it once was. There are now other businesses and more affluent Haitian individuals looking to move into the community. These people not only stimulate the local economy, but are excited to be part of the local community themselves. In addition to Mission E4's elementary school, we also have a central highschool in this village. We have a thriving medical and dental clinic. In addition to Mission E4's business development initiatives, there is a wholesale warehouse and other local vendors who have moved into town. There is now even a gas station that is being built!
The encouraging part of this success story is that the people of Cassange have now branched out, and Mission E4 is partnering with them to reach eight other local communities. Those eight other villages are expected to see similar results to what we saw in Cassange. We have a model that works! We are excited to expand and see other people's lives changed! Your partnership with Mission E4 and the Haitian people is laying the ground work for generational change that will continue to expand year after year.
In our next series of newsletters we will be giving you a tour of the other communities that we are partnering with now!
