You Matter

When you look up at the stars on a clear night what is your view?  Many feel a sense of insignificance knowing how small they are in the universe.  Others see a vast array of lights all lighting up our world with a focus on God’s creation. Every time you make a ripple it goes out in every direction as one more light.  A positive wave impacts everyone it touches with the sense that they exist and that they matter.  Imagine someone 1000 miles away sending a message that you are important, loved and cared for.  Now imagine 1000’s of people telling a group of kids and families they matter.  That collective voice channeled through an organization such as Mission E4, changes lives.

God declares we are indescribably valuable like the “great pearl”.  As we experience yearning, from our innate need to matter and be valuable, we begin to understand what other people need.  As we give (resources and experiences) others feel the lights shine on them. They gain strength to send a ripple back and to others so that our ripples might grow in intensity together.
